THERE has been a change in policy relating to the use of e-cigarettes at the iPro Stadium.
As of today's championship fixture against Brentford, e-cigarette users will no longer be permitted to smoke within the stands.
The club has moved to make the decision following a number of complaints in recent weeks.
John Vicars, Derby County’s chief operating officer, said: “The safety and comfort of our supporters is paramount, which is why we have decided to make this change to our policy in relation to E-Cigarettes.“We want to ensure that the iPro Stadium remains a safe and enjoyable environment for all supporters on a matchday.
“We felt it was important to make the change now and we thank our supporters for their understanding with this particular matter.”E-cigarettes will be able to be used within the concourse areas or outside the stadium at half-time.
